Today was a looooooooooong day. From 10 AM-8PM I'm completely busy and am going from thing to thing. The latest any of my days is supposed to end is 5 and/or 5:30. But I'll get to that in a minute.
Bright side is, that every day I get to sleep in. Sleeping in to me is about 8:00 or so because I always get up early (depending on how late I got to sleep) so I'm really excited about that. Also, every day except for Thursday my classes don't start until 10:20 or so, so I get some extra time to do what I want before classes start! Woohoo!!! My first and only class of the day is/was Into to Ancient History. Anyone that knows me know that I suck at history. I'm terrible at memorizing dates. Knowing the significance of things that happen as well as where I'm fine with, but dates are my kryptonite. It's my kryptnoite, I tell you! It's trying to kill me! So we'll see how things go there. My teacher is really funny and nice and can go off on tangents sometimes, but he really enjoys what he's teaching so that should be a great deal of motivation for me. Best part, we have 4 quizzes assigned for the class and only have to take up to two, deciding to skip whichever ones we want. AND the 'long papers' that we have are only 750 words. Thank god for that and the fact that I can e-mail them all so I don't have to worry about wasting the last of my 300 or so prints. Annnnnd we know the day of our replacement for Tinker Day and I can't wait for that day off. First day of classes and I'm hoping for a day off already. I don't think I have seniority, but I'm getting close. Or I'm just hoping that warm weather gets here so I'm a bit happier but that's neither here nor there. I went back to work today too and that was just as good as it was before. I think Mack and I are one of the few people that enjoy working where we do. Yeah, we're the only two work study students there, but we got to know our supervisors really well and we're always laughing about something while we're working. I actually enjoy it, plus it's a great way to get ready for the potential office work I'd be doing later in life, depending on where I get a job. Though our office is a bit more relaxed than most, so I may need to get prepared for that and quickly. Then there was World Music officially and as usual I loved it. I just love being able to play music and play some of my favorite songs on the steel pan. It makes me excite for my bass lessons the next day. There's just something about the way a song sounds when you get it right after ages and ages and ages and ages and ages (I could go on) of messing it up. I'm so much of a perfectionist with my music it actually really annoys me sometimes. Then my sisters and I judged the finalist poems for a contest and now we're all snug back in our apartments with the heat. Did I ever mention that I hate the wind as much as I hate the cold? The only time I like the cold is when it snows and if it doesn't snow enough for me to get a day off or something, then it's not worth it. All in all, I'd say it was
