Q: How do we tell you all apart?
A: Since birth, we were color coded. Jess wears red/pink, Mack wears blue, Mere wears purple, and Steph wears green. There are other ways to tell us apart like faces, distinguishing marks, or height to name a few.
Q: Is your book, Two Pair, based off your own lives?
A: Yes and no. We like to say that is a heavily exaggerated versions of ourselves. We were adopted just like the characters but we were never split up, we always knew we were multiples, and we were all adopted into one family instead of two single parents like in the novel.
Q: Were you all born on the same day?
A: Yes. We were all born on the same day. Except for a few special cases like a multiple is born around midnight, chances are multiples are all born on the same day.
Q: How did you get into writing?
A: We got into reading first by our fifth grade teacher Mrs. Obanon. We got into writing when we entered the sixth grade and took a writing workshop class with Mrs. Clark Evans. We enjoy creating new scenarios and characters.
Q: If you weren't a writer, what would you like to be?
A: At first Jess wanted to be a doctor, but now she would like to be an actress in tv/film, Mack would like to be a chef or a food critic, Mere would like to be a music teacher, and Steph, really, would like to be in any position where she can help others, but it looks like right now she wants to be an English/Music/Piano teacher or a writer--more specifically a novelist.
Q: Why don't you have your own show?
A: We don't know but we get asked this question a lot. We have always though of turning our Quadruple or Nothing series into a film or a television series. The four of us would love to be voice over artists as well. We guess you'll just have to wait and see...
