Everyone knows that 9/11/01 will forever be an important date in history. Not just for the US but for the whole world. This day is something I want to make sure that my children (whenever I have them) will remember as well. It shouldn't be one of those important dates that end up in obscurity until you need to remember it for a history test/exam.
I believe as the anniversary of 9/11 comes around people become scared and worried of any possible repeats. You shouldn't let that stop you from having a good day. You also shouldn't let it stop you from thinking about others. Take the time today to do something nice for others. We have to understand that even though there is bad in the world and even in our country, we're all untied as Americans and should respect and grieve as one and not individuals.
This post is in the memory of all the 9/11 casualties.
