I was browsing my timeline on twitter (which I do practically all day, I always have a tab for twitter open) and I came across this tweet for Virgos: Three Steps to Happiness for Virgo: 1) Keep a Gratitude Journal 2) Exercise, Meditate and Eat Better 3) Share Random Acts of Kindness.
Thinking it over, in some way shape or form, I do all of these things. I've kept a gratitude journal since my J-Term seminar last year which was 'The Psychology of Being Happy'. That was a really fun class. I like to get exercise as often as I can. Though I don't meditate because it's never been something that's worked for me and I'd like to say that my diet is 'Ok'. It's not amazing, but it's not terrible either. And I always do random acts of kindness without thinking about it. I think that this is something that everyone should do and not just Virgos. It gives you a lot of energy and I can attest to the fact that it does make you happier. I am definitely a happier person this year than I was last year because I think differently. Sure, I may have a bad day at times where things don't go my way, but I just look at the small silver lining (I've always been a positive person) and try not to sweat the small stuff.
