You know, I really got to give Mom and Dad some props. Not only did they put all of us through college, but they've really raised the six of us to be grounded, to have big aspirations, supports us when we're trying something new or something big, as well as help us out when we get a hitch in our plans.
For example some unforeseeable, frustrating things happened today and Mom and Dad really helped us out. They agreed that while we had the right to be upset about what was going on, they also helped keep our spirits up and to help us find a solution to our problems and they've always been that way. Yes, there have been many times where I've snapped at them when I didn't mean to (frustrating emotions and all that) and there have been times where I've dismissed their advice, but I've learned not to do that because they're always very helpful and (yes, I'm admitting this) right more often than not. And while this is my last semester of school, it makes me want to converse with them more. The last couple of years I usually only called home if I had a bit of a problem and wanted them to know about it or am reminding them of when we were going home. I never really called them first to see how they were doing. So that's another one of my goals, to start conversations with them more. They really have been a sort of support for us while we've been in school and I can't thank them enough for that. Peace.
