Another lazy Sunday come and gone...and I have classes again tomorrow. One week down and about a million to go. Seriously, I don't know how many weeks yet, but I am trying to count down. As I do every Sunday, I get the weeks' worth of homework done ahead of time. And today I was doing my computer homework.
I'm taking a computer class online, mostly for an easy A because there's nothing challenging to it at all. It's all online and I just follow steps to open and close a word document and change text and things like that. Like I said, easy A. The only thing that kind of gets on my nerves is that I'm so used to using keyboard shortcuts and in this class, for the most part, I'm not allowed to. If I hit 'ctrl + o' to open something, it'll tell me I'm wrong. I actually have to click 'file' then 'open' and to be honest, it kind of drives me crazy because I'm not used to it. But it reminds me of a picture I saw on tumblr. It was for windows 99 or something of the sort and showed the steps it took for us to get to play solitaire on our computers back then. You had to hit start, go to all programs, accessories, games, and them solitaire. Now all I have to do is push a button, scroll over, and click on it. It's really interesting to see how computers and technology have really changed over the years. What always entertains me is the fact that whenever I ask my sisters, we always remember the commercials for when the new versions of AOL came out (when you used to get them on a disk) and the little tunes that went along with them. Otherwise we're just getting ready for the week and for Valentine's Day on Friday. It came us sooner than I anticipated, like, it really snuck up on me this time. I need to get some stuff done before Friday for it. It's funny, just looking ahead, I can already see how stressful Spring is most likely going to be towards graduation. Hopefully I can keep my head above water and stay as calm as possible. I'm not one that usually gets stressed as I typically go with the flow, so I've got high hopes. *Insert singing the only part of the song I know here*
