Since I want to get this blog post done before midnight, I'll recap today's J-Term class tomorrow because I have class tomorrow as well. Besides, what I want to talk about is a bit more important. (To me anyway, probably not to you).
Mere and I were going through old websites we had made for our writing/chracters and deleting them. We ended up finding a forum that we had created ages ago and completely forgot about. But finding it again brought up a lot of old memories from '07, '08, '09, and '10 as it was something that we wrote about for those (roughly) four years. It showed us things about our characters that we had written in the past that stayed the same and things that had changed. The biggest change is something that defined one of our characters as well as the names of some others. But the thing that brought us the biggest amount of joy was finding a story that a friend of ours had written with our characters in it along with her character, another friend, and a band that we liked at the time. The memories of sharing those stories with each other, laughing at what we had written (and I still laughed hysterically at it now) as well as spending hours on end talking to each other about it made me smile and remember all of the good times we spent together as well as the bad that we helped each other through.
We don't talk to them as much as we used to (even having become pen-pals with one at one point before life got in the way) but we know that we're going to be friends for a long time and we're grateful for the time that we had shared with them and that we hope to continue to share with them in the future along with the new and even greater friends that we have made through our writing as well.
Yeah, this was kind of a corny blog, I'm lucky I like corn.
Loves anything red. Rock music, playing the guitar, drawing, writing, tattoos, and sports are some of my interests and hobbies. I like to laugh, I like to think I'm funny. I talk a lot...just a warning.
