So I figured that for 2014 I would document every day in a blog. So here's January 2nd...
First thing's first, I bought a wholllllleeeeee bunch of stuff off of Adidas.com. My broter got me and my sisters and other brother a 50 dollar giftcard for it and I went nuts. I like to get things on sale as it is so I was able to get a cool jacket AND a new pair of shoes AND get if all 20% off. So even though I didn't actually spend anything (thank god for giftcards) I still saved a lot. Frugal shopper here! I even managed to get Mere's christmas gift, which was a watch that is usually over $100 for only about $30! I figured that'd be the highlight of my day, but no. The highlight was having to chase my dogs around the neighborhood, trying to catch them. Ok, so someone had already found them and took them into their house to call our number for us to come get them. But it was kind of funny picturing the four of us running four different ways around the neighborhood to find them. Trust me, you would have found it funny too: four different colors sprinting off around our neighborhood. Hysterical. Anyone that knows me knows I'm a writer. So they know that I'm on my computer or am handwriting in a notebook or on a stack of college rule paper for extended periods of time. After doing NaNoWriMo in November (at least 50,000 words a month) I actually found it too easy. And that was reinforced by the fact that I've written well over 10,000 words today. I'm not bragging, because bragging isn't my style, but I think it says something that in a couple of hours I can write that much and not get tired or bored with whatever I'm working with. Heck, my sisters and I have been able to do that for years as we publish some of our works online (but we'll get to that at some other time). Speaking of, met some really good friends on the site that we publish too, so that's cool. Last thing...we signed up for snow tubing and ice skating in J-Term. As soon as Steph told us about snow tubing, I practically screamed at her to send the link so we can sign up. Hello! Snow tubing, in january, up in Lynchburg. It's gonna be sweet. And while I'm not so great at ice skating, I love that too. My sisters and I were talking to a friend about our Valentine's Day date (yes, he took a set of quadruplets out on a "hot date". Valentine's Day 2009, shout out to Dylan) ice skating so it's kind of ironic that we're going again now. That should be fun too, I haven't gone in a while but I've always enjoyed it. Oh and, surprise surprise, it's snowing here. It doesn't EVER snow in Roanoke enough to matter, but it's snowing here. What a big slap in the face that is. *rolls eyes*. Seriously, though, it brings for laughs, because when I was going to go get the trash and recycling bins from outside, I told my Mom that I would go get it. This is the rest that happened. Mom: You need something on your feet. Me: I know that. I was going to go get some shoes. I'm not that stupid. *pauses for a second*. Sometimes my actions may be questionable, but I'm not that stupid. Cue laughter from my sisters here. And this brings up the question: "why don't you have your own TV show?" Frankly, I don't know. I think we'd be great. Comedy gold here. Hahaha. Peace, -Jess
